Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1 bunch of asparagus (about 1 lb), trimmed

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish. Pour half of the honey mustard marinade over the salmon, ensuring that each fillet is well coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the asparagus.

Prepare Asparagus: On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread the trimmed asparagus. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Add Salmon to Baking Sheet: After the marinating time, place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the same baking sheet with the asparagus. Drizzle the remaining honey mustard marinade over the salmon.

Bake Together: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender. (Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the salmon.)

Serve: Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish the dish with fresh parsley, if using. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.
