Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup broccoli florets, blanched and chopped

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tubes of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, chopped broccoli, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.

Roll Out Dough: Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the seams together to make a solid sheet of dough.

Create a Braid: Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, make cuts along the sides of the dough (about 1.5 inches apart). Leave the center of the dough uncut (this will hold the filling).

Add Filling: Spoon the chicken and Alfredo mixture down the center of the dough. Be careful not to overfill as it may spill out during baking.

Braid it Up: Starting from one end, fold the triangle pieces over the filling, alternating sides to create a braid effect. Pinch the ends to seal.

Apply Egg Wash: Brush the top of the braid with beaten egg to help it brown beautifully in the oven.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the braid is golden brown and cooked through.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing. Serve warm, and enjoy this delicious twist on classic Chicken Alfredo!
