2 cups cooked white rice

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

3 cups fresh broccoli florets (or 2 cups frozen broccoli, thawed)

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color)

1/4 cup bread crumbs (optional, for topping)

1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for making breadcrumbs crispy)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare the Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam the florets until bright green and tender, about 3-4 minutes. If using frozen, ensure they are thawed and drained of excess water. Set aside.

      Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, chicken, steamed broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and milk. Stir until well combined.

        Season It Up: Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning if needed.

          Add Cheese: Fold in the shredded sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese, reserving a bit of cheese for topping later.

            Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly for even cooking.
