Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup milk (or chicken broth)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Sauté the Chicken:

    - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

      - Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink and starts to brown, about 5-7 minutes.

        Add Broccoli:

          - Once the chicken is cooked, add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.

            Mix in Flavorings:

              - Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and garlic powder into the skillet.

                - Pour in the milk (or chicken broth) and stir well to combine all ingredients. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes so the sauce thickens slightly.

                  Cheesy Goodness:

                    - Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and broccoli mixture.

                      - Cover the skillet with a lid and allow the cheese to melt for 2-3 minutes.

                        Serve and Garnish:

                          - Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, remove from heat.

                            - Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

                              Enjoy:

                                - Serve the Cheesy Ranch Chicken Broccoli Skillet warm, either on its own or with rice or quinoa if desired.
