Ingredients

12 lasagna noodles

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

2 cups ricotta cheese

3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded (divided)

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

4 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Lasagna Noodles:

    - Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a clean kitchen towel.

      Preheat Oven:

        - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

          Mix the Chicken Filling:

            - In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

              Assemble the Lasagna:

                - Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

                  - Place 3 lasagna noodles in a single layer over the sauce.

                    - Spread 1/3 of the chicken mixture over the noodles, followed by 1/4 of the Alfredo sauce, and then sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top.

                      - Repeat this layering process (noodles, chicken mixture, Alfredo sauce, cheese) two more times.

                        - For the final layer, place the last 3 noodles, cover with the remaining Alfredo sauce, and top with the remaining mozzarella and all the Parmesan cheese.

                          Bake:

                            - Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil (to prevent sticking, you can spray the foil with cooking spray). Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

                              Garnish and Serve:

                                - Once baked, remove the lasagna from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
