1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

For the Flatbread:

2 store-bought naan or pita breads

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves

1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:

    - In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

      - Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.

        - Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Bring to a gentle simmer.

          - Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and creamy.

            - Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using). Remove from heat and set aside.

              Prepare the Flatbread:

                - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

                  - Brush the naan or pita breads lightly with olive oil on both sides.

                    - Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

                      Assembling the Flatbreads:

                        - Spread a generous layer of the creamy garlic Alfredo sauce over each flatbread.

                          - Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

                            - Add the fresh spinach, sliced mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes on top of the cheese.

                              Baking:

                                - Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.

                                  Garnish and Serve:

                                    - Once baked, remove the flatbreads from the oven and let them cool slightly.

                                      - Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Cut into slices and serve warm.
