1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips

2 cups broccoli florets

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Prepare the Chicken: Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Cook the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and a splash of the chicken broth. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp. Remove the broccoli and set it aside with the chicken.

        Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the remaining chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to cook for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.

          Combine Everything: Reduce the heat to low, then return the cooked chicken and broccoli to the skillet. Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
