Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cups fresh spinach (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Extra Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

Cook Tortellini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Create Cream Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine with the garlic. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Add Cheese: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. If using, stir in the fresh spinach and cook until just wilted.

Combine Tortellini: Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the creamy garlic sauce. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on low heat until heated through.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while hot.
