4 large carrots

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Carrots: Peel the carrots and slice them into thin, even rounds — about 1/8 inch thick. For a more creative presentation, you can also use a mandoline slicer to get uniformly thin slices.

      Season the Carrots: In a mixing bowl, combine the carrot slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the carrot rounds are evenly coated.

        Add the Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned carrot slices. Toss gently to ensure each slice is coated with cheese.

          Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the carrot slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not overlapping to ensure maximum crispiness.

            Bake the Chips: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping the chips halfway through. Keep an eye on them; they should be golden and crispy, but avoid burning them.
