For the Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sliders:

8 slider buns

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 large tomato, sliced

Pickles (optional)

Sliced cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for best results.

    Prepare the Breading Station: In one bowl, combine flour, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and shredded cheddar cheese.

      Bread the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk. Dredge each piece first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then dip into the panko coating, pressing gently to adhere well. Place breaded chicken on a plate.

        Fry the Chicken: In a deep skillet or fryer, heat about 1 inch of oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the chicken breasts and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
