Ingredients

1 large store-bought flatbread or naan

2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced

1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon balsamic glaze (optional for drizzling)

Salt and pepper to taste

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional for a spicy kick)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Flatbread: Place the flatbread or naan on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread the Ricotta: In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with honey. Spread a generous layer of the honey ricotta mixture over the flatbread.

Add the Peaches: Evenly distribute the thinly sliced peaches over the ricotta layer.

Season: Sprinkle torn basil leaves on top, then season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Drizzle olive oil lightly over the top.

Bake: Place the flatbread in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the peaches are slightly caramelized.

Garnish: Remove the flatbread from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired. Allow it to cool for a minute.

Serve: Slice into pieces and serve warm, garnished with additional fresh basil if you like.
