Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate for a sweeter option)

2 tablespoons coconut oil (for added smoothness)

Assorted toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, sprinkles, or mini chocolate chips

Wooden popsicle sticks or skewers

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a wooden popsicle stick or skewer into the flat end of each banana piece. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.

Coat the Bananas: Dip each banana half into the melted chocolate, making sure to cover them evenly. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing the coated bananas back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add Your Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the bananas with your choice of toppings like crushed nuts, shredded coconut, sprinkles, or mini chocolate chips.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow the banana pops to freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely hardened.

Enjoy: Once frozen, remove the banana pops from the baking sheet. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
