Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn, husked

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Optional: 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the husked corn and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove from the pot and set aside to cool slightly. Alternatively, you can grill the corn on medium heat for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if you want some heat. Mix well to ensure the garlic is evenly distributed throughout the butter.

Coat the Corn: Once the corn is cool enough to handle, brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each ear of corn, ensuring they are well coated.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered corn, pressing gently to make sure the cheese sticks to the butter.

Garnish: Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the corn for a pop of color and freshness.

Serve: Enjoy your Garlic Parmesan Corn on the Cob right away, while it's still warm. It’s perfect as a side dish for barbeques or summer gatherings!
