Grilled BBQ Chicken Wraps

2 large chicken breasts

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

4 large whole wheat tortillas

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded romaine lettuce

½ cup diced tomatoes

¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

1 avocado, sliced

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for grilling

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken breasts with ½ cup of BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

      Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard any leftover marinade). Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Brush the chicken with more BBQ sauce during the last minutes of grilling for a smoky glaze.

        Rest and Slice: Once grilled, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes, then slice it into strips.

          Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a tablespoon of BBQ sauce on the tortilla, then add a generous handful of shredded lettuce, followed by diced tomatoes, red onion, and sliced avocado. Finally, layer the grilled chicken strips and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

            Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly from the bottom up to create a wrap. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.

              Serve: Cut each wrap in half and serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
