Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (or homemade if preferred)

1 cup fig jam

1 cup fresh arugula

8 oz fresh goat cheese, crumbled

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 tsp dried thyme)

Olive oil, for drizzling

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you're using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or a pizza peel dusted with flour if using a stone.

Spread the Fig Jam: Evenly spread the fig jam over the surface of the dough, leaving about a half-inch edge around the crust.

Add Cheeses: Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese atop the fig jam, followed by the shredded mozzarella for added creaminess.

Season and Garnish: Scatter the fresh thyme leaves over the cheese and season with a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance the flavors.

Bake the Pizza: Carefully transfer the pizza into the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone). Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Add Arugula: Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Top it with the fresh arugula and drizzle a bit of olive oil over the greens.

Finish with Balsamic Glaze: Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the entire pizza for a sweet and tangy finish.

Slice and Serve: Slice the pizza into wedges, serve warm, and enjoy your unique homemade fig jam pizza with friends or family!
