Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:

In a bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Reserve 1/4 cup of the barbecue mixture for basting later. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and coat them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for better flavor.

      Prepare the Peaches:

While the chicken is marinating, preheat your grill to medium heat. Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with a little olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.

          Grill the Chicken:

Once the grill is preheated, remove the chicken from the marinade (discard the used marinade). Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side. Flip the chicken and baste with the reserved barbecue sauce. Grill for another 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

              Grill the Peaches:

In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the peach halves to the grill, cut side down. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until they are charred and tender.

                  Serve:

Once the chicken and peaches are done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken and serve it on plates with the grilled peaches. Drizzle with additional barbecue sauce if desired and garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color.

                      Enjoy:

Dig in and savor the sweet, smoky flavors of the Juicy Grilled Peach BBQ Chicken!
