1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for breadcrumb topping)

Instructions
 

Pre-cook the Rice: In a medium saucepan, combine the uncooked brown rice and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer for about 45 minutes until the rice is tender and all the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
