Ingredients

1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and diced

1 cup fresh pineapple, diced

1/2 red bell pepper, diced

1/4 red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust for spice preference)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Fruits: In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mango and pineapple. Make sure the pieces are cut into similar sizes for even mixing.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the finely chopped red bell pepper, red onion, and minced jalapeño. The red bell pepper adds sweetness while the jalapeño adds a kick!

Mix in Cilantro and Lime: Add the chopped cilantro and squeeze the juice of one fresh lime over the mixture. The lime juice will enhance the flavors and keep the salsa fresh.

Season the Salsa: Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently to avoid mashing the fruits. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Chill: For the best flavor, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve: Serve the mango pineapple salsa with tortilla chips in a beautiful bowl. Enjoy the vibrant colors and fruity flavors!
