4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on

1 lb asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice and zest of 1 large lemon

1 teaspoon dried thyme or 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Asparagus: On a large rimmed baking sheet, arrange the trimmed asparagus in a single layer. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat.

      Prepare the Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and thyme. Set aside.
