Ingredients

4 cups brewed black tea, cooled

2 large ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1/4 cup honey (or to taste)

1 lemon, juiced

3 cups ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Brew the Tea: Start by brewing 4 cups of your favorite loose leaf black tea or tea bags. Allow it to steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags or strain out the leaves. Let the tea cool to room temperature, or chill it in the refrigerator.

Prepare the Peaches: While the tea is cooling, wash and slice the ripe peaches, removing the pits. You can reserve a couple of slices for garnish if desired.

Blend the Mixture: In a blender, combine the cooled tea, sliced peaches, honey, and fresh lemon juice. Squeeze the lemon to add a refreshing citrus note to the drink. Blend until smooth.

Add Ice: Gradually add the ice cubes into the blender. Blend again until the mixture is slushy and the ice is well incorporated. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides or adjust the amount of ice depending on your desired slushiness.

Taste and Adjust: Taste the slush to see if you want it sweeter. If so, add more honey and blend again. You can also adjust the lemon juice to taste, enhancing its refreshing flavor.

Serve: Pour the slush into chilled glasses. If you reserved peach slices, use them to garnish each drink. For an extra touch, add a sprig of fresh mint on top.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with a straw or spoon, and enjoy your refreshing Peach Iced Tea Slush on a hot day!
