Ingredients

2 cups white chocolate chips

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 teaspoons matcha powder (ceremonial grade for best flavor)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Optional toppings: crushed pistachios, dried edible flowers, or extra matcha powder for dusting

Instructions

Prepare Your Pan: Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later. Lightly grease the parchment paper with a bit of butter.

Melt the Chocolate Mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and completely melted, making sure not to let it boil.

Incorporate Matcha: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Sift the matcha powder into the chocolate mixture to avoid clumps, and stir well until fully combined. Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, mixing until the fudge is a uniform color.

Pour and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. If using optional toppings, sprinkle them on top while the fudge is still warm so they stick.

Chill: Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the fudge is firm to the touch.

Slice and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Use a sharp knife to cut it into squares. Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator, and enjoy your silky treat!
