Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tbsp sriracha (or your favorite hot sauce)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack on top of it. This will help the wings crisp up nicely.

Prepare the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

Marinate the Wings: Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to ensure they are evenly coated. For best results, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour (or up to 4 hours if you have time).

Arrange the Wings: Once marinated, remove the wings from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared wire rack, allowing space between them for air to circulate.

Bake the Wings: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through to promote even cooking.

Glaze the Wings: In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the wings with any remaining marinade for an extra layer of flavor.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce on the side, if desired!
