2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large whole-grain wraps or tortillas

1 cup shredded red cabbage

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1/4 cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt (for serving)

Optional: Hot sauce for extra heat

Prepare the Spiced Chickpeas: In a medium bowl, combine the drained chickpeas, olive oil, smoked paprika, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chickpeas are thoroughly coated with the spices.

    Cook the Chickpeas: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the spiced chickpeas to the pan. Sauté them for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are slightly crispy and golden.

      Warm the Wraps: While the chickpeas are cooking, warm the whole-grain wraps or tortillas in a separate pan for about a minute on each side or until pliable.

        Assemble the Wraps: Lay a warm wrap flat on a plate. Start by adding a layer of shredded red cabbage in the center, followed by a generous serving of the sautéed chickpeas, sliced avocado, and halved cherry tomatoes.
